“It brings me immense fulfillment and joy to help people take ownership of their journey in life”

Hi, I’m Palmer

I have always known that one of my happy places was having meaningful conversations with people, listening to their stories and understanding more about their hopes and ambitions.

I love seeing people talk about their passions and what their ideal journey in life would be. I quickly realized that it brought me immense fulfillment and joy to help people take ownership of their journey in life, and make their hopes and goals a reality.

In my own life, I have had many seasons where I have felt aimless and confused on what direction I wanted to head in. There were many times where I was just trying to get through the next day, and didn’t care to think about the journey ahead. I felt hopeless and angry at the circumstances I was facing in life. I wondered how I would find meaning in these seasons.

Fast forward a decade

…and a lot of reflection, growth and hard work, I have found that my purpose is in helping young people:

  • Discover or pursue their passions

  • Navigate the hard seasons

  • Find joy in their everyday lives

  • Gain purpose and direction

  • Create and conquer goals to build the future they want

During my time as a camp counselor 5 years ago, I learned how meaningful conversations could be with young people when they were encouraged to look past their immediate future and ponder what they could use their unique gifts for.

However, I knew that a week or two of conversation was not enough to really help guide and encourage them. Enter my career as a student confidence, journey, and life coach

If you haven’t seen it yourself, I can tell you that watching someone show up consistently to work on themselves and their goals is one of the most amazing things to witness.

Being able to help young people tap into their true selves and take steps to own their journey is a true gift.

Discovering one’s true self is already challenging on its own, let alone while managing personal, family, and societal pressures. Even the best intentions from any of those three can inadvertently lead us astray from our own journey. Whether you are a young adult/teen yourself or the parent of one, if you feel that having a new and unique pillar of support could be helpful, I would love to have a conversation and see if we are a good fit.

A Little More About Me

I am a Denver native and am now based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Before my wife and I settled in Fort Collins, I backpacked to over 55 countries, each of which taught me something new about myself and the world. I love staying active, whether that’s at the gym or hiking, rowing, or paddle boarding in the mountains.

My story includes being the middle of three boys, being a teenager during a high conflict, several year-long divorce, gaining 3 step siblings, getting sent to a treatment center in the middle of my high school years, and many years of growth, hard work on my inner self and immense joy, laughter, and purpose.

I hope to be the “non-family” support and encourager I needed when I was younger and facing some of the most crucial years.

Meet Noah!

Noah has been living out his passion of lifting up others for the last 8 years. From leading middle schoolers to college students, Noah has a gift of being able to see the light in everyone and help them shine regardless of the weight they are carrying. Noah had a few role models come into his life at a pivotal point in his teenage years and experienced the life-changing impact that a trusted, encouraging, and relatable adult can have on one’s life. Now, Noah does for others what he is forever grateful his mentor did for him.

A Little More About Noah

I am a Chicago native and now get to live in the surprisingly beautiful state of Arkansas…but if we are comparing it to Illinois, most places are more beautiful 😅

I have a love for adventure, running, and connecting with others. I try my best to say yes to life and that has led me to where I am today as well as taken me on some amazing adventures around the world. All of the chapters, big or small, have taught me new things about myself and how to better engage and take ownership over the journey of life that I am on.

In the past, I’ve had times where I have felt that everything was out of my control and that my life was going to be decided for me. It took some rough years and a few bumps but I realized that no matter how hard it gets there is an option to say yes to a life where you don’t let the world dictate how your journey goes.

I wouldn’t be the man that I am if it wasn’t for some of my “non -family” support who helped me see the best in myself and turn it into something greater than myself.

Meet Patrick!

As a lifelong athlete and coach, Patrick knows that the journey to success is full of challenges. He believes that having a trusted mentor in your corner can make all the difference. For more than 10 years, Patrick has been that person for young people, first as a swim and track coach and now as a life coach. He has a gift for helping students discover their inner strength, overcome obstacles, and actively build the future they want for themselves.

Having navigated his own struggles as a teenager, Patrick is passionate about being the "non-family" support he knows is so crucial. He understands that to lead others, you must first put in the work to find your own way. His purpose is to help students see the best in themselves and give them the tools they need to turn their potential into a reality.

A Little More About Patrick

Patrick was born and raised in Arkansas, where sports were a huge part of his life. As a three-sport athlete in high school, he learned what it meant to be disciplined and devoted to a dream, which eventually earned him a D1 track scholarship to Arkansas State University.

That journey wasn't always a straight line. Managing his own struggles with ADHD, injuries, and the pressures of being a student-athlete taught him so much about perseverance. Most importantly, it showed him the incredible impact that a supportive coach and mentor can have. His experiences, both the wins and the struggles, are why he's so committed to being that person for others. Whether in life coaching, sports, or volunteering, his top priority is always the people around him.
