Teen Life Coaching

Being a young person can feel overwhelming. Whether you are seemingly balancing it all or are in the back of the classroom feeling the weight of the world, having someone help you navigate the road ahead can make all the difference.

While our goal is to support your kids in whatever chapter they are in, student coaching will cover topics from time management, goal setting, and accountability, to emotional intelligence, self talk and leadership skills. We feel that a holistic approach helps individuals prepare for the journey ahead in ways that are often overlooked.

Teen and Family Therapy

Life will inevitably bring hard times. The key is not letting them weigh you down, but using them to live more in tune and with greater purpose.

Whether your challenges stem from complex family dynamics, developmental transitions, or any of life’s countless other hurdles, doing the work to take ownership of your life is always worth it. No hardship is too big to recover from. In our work together, we don’t just address symptoms; we uncover the root causes to create lasting change.

Drawing from my Marriage and Family Therapy training at Northwestern University, I use what I believe are the most effective approaches for real transformation: Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Therapy is available to Colorado residents and can be individual or family-focused.

Public Speaking

Palmer and his mom, Kerry Stutzman LMFT, are experts in parent-teen relationships and provide a unique perspective as a mother-son duo who walked through the tough teen years together.

Whether you need a short presentation or an in-depth workshop for parents and teens of any length, Kerry and Palmer can work with you to create a presentation that best fits your needs.

They’ll have your audience roaring with relatable laughter, tearing up at the tough, vulnerable parts, AND taking home actionable steps for creating a closer, more connected family.

Meet Palmer…

My spark for life turns into a roaring flame when I am given the chance to meet people where they are and bring to life their passions and strengths.

Through my experiences in life thus far, I understand the struggles that come with growing up and discovering one’s true self while carrying the weight of being a teenager or young adult. I have also learned that cultivating an unshakeable confidence in oneself can make all the difference when you are growing, learning, and making tough decisions as a young person. My calling has led me to walk alongside teenagers and young adults as they find their path in life and discover what it means to own their journey.

“Having Palmer to help navigate what it looks like to set goals, improve my mindset, and build a firm foundation for my future has been better than I could have imagined. He doesn’t lecture on what I need to do but equips me with the tools and approach I need in order to turn my “maybe one day” hopes into the life I am living now. I wouldn’t be where I am without him.”

“Thank you for the time you put into me, I really believe you have been a big part of my success. I have been able to find more independence through the part-time job you helped me with, as well as what you taught me about how to balance the effort needed to get grades I am very proud of, taking care of my relationships, and personal well-being.”

-Liam K., Texas, 16

“My work with Palmer has ended up being a highlight in my week. Our calls are like working out, sometimes it's hard to get yourself to the gym but when you finish you feel great and are fired up to take on the world. It’s not all fun and games but you know it's going to be good for you because he helps you take reasonable steps toward your goals and the future you want to have.”

-Tyler A., California, 14
